Meet Dr. Phillips

Dr. Morgan Phillips, DMD joined our team in March 2018.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.  She was a member of the inaugural class at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina.

During her studies at ECU, Dr. Phillips co-founded the Oral Medicine Interest Group, the DMD student organization, and the American Association of Women Dentists student chapter, while serving as Student Co-Chair on the Professional Conduct Committee.  She participated in extensive research to assess oral health literacy in eastern North Carolina and mentored fellow dental students as a pre-clinical lab tutor.

Dr. Phillips continued her dental education at Palmetto Health in Columbia, South Carolina, where she completed her General Practice Residency Program.  During residency, she gained advanced training in all dental specialties.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Dr. Phillips currently resides in the Dilworth area.  She enjoys anything to do with water, including hiking to waterfalls, relaxing on the beach, and water sports on the lake.  She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Finally, Dr. Phillips currently serves as a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society.  She strongly believes in practicing according to current dental technologies and evidence-based dentistry.  With her eye for aesthetics and kind, gentle approach, Dr. Phillips strives to provide her patients with high-quality care in a comfortable atmosphere.
